My nail varnish of the week is by OPI and is a very subtle shimmery pink, an unusual choice compared to the bright colours I normally wear.
I have applied three coats and it still is very see-through so my advice is to make sure nails are at their optimum condition before applying a colour like this as everything shows.

My nail varnish of the week is A Roll In The Hague by OPI. I think the colour looks more orange in the bottle than once it’s on nails as it seems to verge on more of a redder shade. As usual the OPI polishes go on brilliantly and last without chipping for almost a week, this colour only needed two coats for full coverage.

My nail varnish of the week is Baker Street by Nails Inc. This cobalt blue polish has an excellent pigmentation and unlike many colours it actually matches the colour in the bottle down to a tee. The polish glided on and provide a great coverage of strong colour and shine after two coats. I have had so many complements about this colour and how good it looks, I will definitely buy another shade from Nails Inc again.

My nail varnish of the week is Just Spotted The Lizard by OPI. It’s a petrol coloured iridescent polish that has shades of gold, green, black, blue and brown. Every time it catches different light it changes which makes it very hard to not look at! A minimum of two coats are needed to achieve the proper effect as one coat just made it look golden. As with all OPI nail varnishes they don’t chip for quite some time and wear to them.

My nail varnish of the week is a bright cerese pink by Colour Couture. Colour Couture are a brand of cheap nail varnish that I got as a little gift from a friend’s mam, I usually try to use better brands of nail varnish but I thought I would try this brand to see the results.
The colour was very vivid from the first coat but I had to keep shaking the bottle after painting a couple of nails as the contents were separating. The polish provided a nice, even coverage after two coats but it has chipped very easily since and has left my nails feeling brittle and weak.

My nail varnish of the week is Bronzed To Perfection by OPI. It’s from their Miami Collection. The colour is a dark bronze with tiny bits of golden shimmer in it, which is very welcome with an almost brown coloured polish as it glams it up a bit.

My nail varnish of the week is by China Glaze. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the names of the polishes because they were done in a salon in Edinburgh however, the base colour was a postbox red shade and the top was a red and silver glitter polish.
This was the first time I had China Glaze on my nails and I was very impressed, the colour was so vibrant and lasted a week before any wear and tear occurred.

My nail varnish of the week is Berry Nude by Color Trend at Avon. It’s a very light, shimmery pink which is so pretty and girly. To build up the colour I’ve had to apply three coats and I think this would be very good as a sparkly top coat over another shade.

My nail varnish of the week is by fcuk on a shade a dark red. I got it for Christmas in one of those fcuk gift sets from Health and beauty store, Boots. It has lasted a week with very little chipping which I was surprised about as I was expecting it to peel and chip very easily. The colour is a deep red which looks good after applying two coats (it’s slightly transparent with just one coat).

My nail varnish of the week is No7 Stay Perfect. I got it in a warm red colour however it makes chips much more noticeable than if it were a lighter colour. I had this nail varnish on for only a couple of days and it was already very badly chipped. I don’t agree that it is a Stay Perfect nail polish and it looked tatty all week (I kept applying more coats as the chipping got worse as I didn’t have time to give myself a manicure which made it worse). I wasn’t expecting to have to write something bad about this nail varnish and I hope not all No7 colours are the same.
